Paraxis ("we", "us", "our") operates the signal intelligence platform available at paraxis.media. We provide narrative analysis, media intelligence, and information environment diagnostics to individuals and institutions.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Paraxis is the data controller for personal information collected through the platform.
We collect the minimum information required to operate the platform:

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not build profiles for sale to third parties. We do not use your audit queries to train AI models.
When you submit an analysis query, it is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your intelligence output. Anthropic processes this data under its own API usage policies. Queries are not stored by Anthropic for model training under its API terms.
Your queries and the resulting analysis are stored in your Paraxis account history. You can delete individual audits at any time from within the platform. You can delete your account entirely by contacting us.
We share your information only with the service providers required to operate the platform:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Audit history is retained until you delete it or close your account. If you close your account, all personal data is deleted within 30 days.
Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for platform improvement purposes.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.

Paraxis uses session cookies strictly necessary for authentication and platform function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that identify individual users.
Your browser settings allow you to control or disable cookies. Disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from remaining signed in.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure credential storage, and access controls. Authentication is handled by Supabase with industry-standard password hashing and Google OAuth 2.0.
No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
We may update this privacy policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. The version number and effective date at the top of this document will always reflect the current version.
